Saurabh Gupta, Founder and CEO of VeriSmart.ai, participated in a panel at MarCon 2026, the 20th edition of IAMAI's Marketing Conclave, held on 4-5 August 2026 at Taj Lands' End, Mumbai. He focused on decentralized AI and how organizations can use artificial intelligence while retaining greater control over data, improving efficiency, reducing unnecessary compute costs, and creating privacy-first systems for marketing and business decision-making.

MarCon 2026 brought together founders, chief marketing officers, brand leaders, agencies, technology companies, media professionals and digital innovators to discuss how AI is reshaping marketing and consumer engagement.
The conclave examined AI-first marketing functions, AI-enabled media planning, the changing search and discovery ecosystem, marketing measurement, and the balance between AI-driven efficiency, creativity, trust and responsible innovation.
Gupta argued that reliable AI outcomes need more than a model — high-quality data, clear permissions, standardized structures, reliable identity and consent signals, efficient context management, cost-conscious architecture and privacy/compliance controls.

Saurabh Gupta's panel at MarCon 2026 added an infrastructure perspective to AI-first marketing — arguing that without a trusted and interoperable data layer, AI built on fragmented signals across websites, apps, campaigns and commerce systems can produce incomplete, inconsistent or poorly governed insights.
