WOI India's invitation-only retreat brought together more than 40 founders, investors, business leaders and ecosystem builders, including around 30 unicorn and soonicorn founders. Organisers and event coverage reported that participating companies represented a combined valuation exceeding US$50 billion, based on a verified floor estimate. Supported by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and JKEDI, the gathering created space for candid founder-to-founder learning and connected national startup leaders with around 40 founders from the region.

The invitation-only format gave founders room to discuss difficult business decisions, growth constraints, leadership mistakes, hiring, product uncertainty, capital needs and the personal pressures of building companies. The exchange drew on the collective experience of around 30 unicorn and soonicorn founders, alongside investors and business leaders.
A Bridge to J&K Startups
Around 40 founders from Jammu & Kashmir presented their ventures, shared ambitions and received direct feedback from national startup leaders, investors and mentors. The interaction was designed to strengthen access to networks, market linkages, capital, expertise and potential partners across sectors including tourism, agriculture, handicrafts, food processing, technology and services.
WOI India-JKEDI MoU and Shurukar Commitment
WOI India and the Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute signed an MoU to support entrepreneurship development, mentorship, founder networking, market linkages and continued ecosystem collaboration. WOI India also announced a ₹2 crore commitment to Shurukar, launched by Shradha Sharma in collaboration with DPIIT to broaden access to entrepreneurship and support more startups across India.
